Partners and consultancies · The advisory and building-science practice of Saniservice

A field and laboratory partner in the Gulf.

Consultancies, certification assessors, environmental and health-and-safety firms and property advisers need measurements taken in the UAE to the standard their own clients expect. Indoor Sciences does the field and laboratory work. You keep the client.

How it works

Partner of record.
The scope is agreed with you. We sample, measure and analyze. The findings are issued either as an Indoor Sciences report naming your firm as the instructing party, or as a technical annex to your own report, as you prefer. Chain of custody is documented from sampling to result. Data is delivered in the format you specify.
One point of contact.
For firms outside the region serving a client here, one named contact, working in English, in the Gulf time zone.
Confidentiality.
Engagements are covered by a non-disclosure agreement where required. Findings are not published or used as references without written permission, and client names are never published.

Why a partner in this climate

Methods and criteria developed for cold climates do not transfer unchanged. From June to September the median outdoor dew point at Dubai and Abu Dhabi is 23 °C, above the surface temperature of a typical air-conditioned room, so wherever outside air reaches a cooled surface it can condense. That changes where moisture appears, how mold establishes, and what a meaningful sampling plan looks like. Indoor Sciences' methods are built for air-conditioned buildings in this climate and its research is published.

What you can rely on

  • Documented methods, applied the same way on every engagement.
  • Instruments maintained and calibrated under Saniservice's ISO 9001 management system; calibration and verification records available on request.
  • An in-house laboratory, the Saniservice Department of Microbiology, for diagnosis and verification, and an EIAC-accredited (ISO/IEC 17025) partner laboratory where a result must carry formal certification.
  • Every figure and method checked by Max Sundell, Indoor Sciences' AI scientific reviewer, and approved by a named member of the scientific team; each report names its reviewer.
  • Published research on the climate the measurements are taken in.

The team

A microbiology team of three, led by a Senior Microbiologist who heads the Saniservice Department of Microbiology, and an IEQ specialist with IAC2 mold certification and an architectural background for the visual and building side.
